Our ZOOK™ Line is a premium tree stand safety line you can be confident will keep you safe while hunting in your treestand. It will keep you connected to the tree while ascending, hunting, and descending the tree.
Our hunting safety rope is trusted by hunters everywhere because of our commitment to manufacturing our products to the highest standards.
“Knot was nice and tight. Did the job.”
-Jack | November 2020
Our lifeline hunting rope gives you optimum versatility, functionality, and safety to give you a better experience on your next hunt.
The ZOOK™ Line can be ordered in 30 foot and 35 foot lengths, with one person, OR two person, configurations. Each ZOOK™ Line comes with a safety line, prusik cord, and carabiner. ZOOK™ Line’s start with 30′ or 35′ Length and will have a shorter finish length. Sewn will be longer than Knotted. With all knotted products the length will finish around 3′ shorter. Sewn will finish about 2′ shorter. Please email with questions on finish length and we can custom make longer lengths if needed.
The ZOOK™ Line 2.0 tree stand rope has improvements to the eye loop, prusik design, and carabiner weight, while maintaining the same high-strength as the original ZOOK™ Line. Our ZOOK™ Line 2.0 has a sewn eye loop instead of knotted, a sewn eye-to-eye prusik instead of an endless (knotted) one, and lightweight aluminum carabiners instead of standard steel.
Get a closer look at these improvements in the comparison diagram of our vertical lifeline rope (above): ‘What’s better about the 2.0’?
PRO TIP | Many people buy a second ZOOK™ Lineman’s Rope so that they can safely ascend past a limb or other obstruction. It may also become necessary while installing your tree stand if you are not able to ascend above it without unhooking your lineman’s rope.
Installation Instructions | ZOOK™ Line Video (2:06)
- Using a secondary fall protection method, such as a ZOOK™ Lineman’s safety rope, attach the ZOOK™ Line above your head while standing in your treestand.
- Wrap the looped end of the main rope around the tree one time and make a choker hitch by feeding the other end of the rope through the loop and down to the ground.
- Position and tighten the choker hitch so the rope that is wrapped around the tree is close to horizontal and let the rest of the rope hang next to your ladder. In the event of a fall you need to be able to reach the ladder to regain your footing.
- At the base of the tree, tie the rope off to the bottom of your ladder (or other attachment point) so the line is tight from top to bottom. Properly tie the prusik knot(s) with the included prusik cord(s). See ZOOK™ video, ‘How to Tie a Prusik‘.
